Welcome to Saburi Cargo. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services, including but not limited to air freight, sea freight, warehousing, packaging, distribution, and customs clearance between the United States and Kenya. By using our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Definitions

  • "Company" refers to Saburi Cargo.
  • "Customer" refers to any individual, organization, or entity that uses the Company's services.
  • "Shipment" refers to any package, goods, or cargo the Customer delivers to the Company for transport.

2. Service Scope

Saburi Cargo offers international logistics services, including:

  • Air and sea cargo transportation
  • Door-to-door delivery
  • Packaging and consolidation
  • Customs clearance and documentation support
  • Business imports and relocation services

The Company reserves the right to refuse service for prohibited, hazardous, or improperly declared items.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must provide accurate shipment details, including weight, dimensions, contents, and destination.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring all items comply with U.S. and Kenyan shipping regulations.

Any Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any duties, taxes, or clearance charges imposed by the destination country are the Customer's responsibility.

4. Prohibited Items

Customers may not ship the following items:

  • Firearms, ammunition, or explosives
  • Hazardous chemicals or substances
  • Perishable goods without proper documentation
  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Counterfeit items
  • Currency or negotiable instruments

The Company may inspect shipments if prohibited items are suspected.

5. Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery times are:

  • Air Freight: 7–10 business days
  • Sea Freight: 6–8 weeks

Timelines are approximate and may vary due to customs delays, weather, or other factors beyond the Company's control. The Company is not liable for delays caused by third parties or force majeure events.

6. Tracking and Communication

Customers will receive tracking information upon dispatch. While every effort is made to provide real-time updates, the Company is not liable for data transmission delays from carrier partners.

7. Loss or Damage Claims

  • Claims for lost or damaged items must be filed within 7 days of delivery.
  • Claims must be supported by proof of value, photographs, and shipping documentation.
  • The Company'sCompany's liability is limited to $100 per shipment unless additional insurance is purchased.

8. Insurance

9. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed, all payments are due in full prior to dispatch. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or approved third-party payment platforms.

10. Right to Refuse Service

Saburi Cargo reserves the right to refuse or terminate service to any Customer who violates these Terms or engages in fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive conduct.

11. Limitation of Liability

Saburi Cargo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or related to delays, loss, or damage unless due to gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Insert U.S. State] and, where applicable, the laws of Kenya. Any legal dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in the Company's operating location.
